Strong and Growing Membership

We support Member Organizations in all activities so that they can become strong and have an impact in the community. Improving the quality of Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting at all levels is key to both recruiting and retaining membership. WAGGGS monitors the performance of each Member Organization through the Performance Assessment process which focuses on the following areas:  

• Adult training
• Educational programmes
• Structure and Management of Associations
• Relationship with Society
• Membership
• Financial Management  

Strategic partnerships at national level as well as regional and world level help to strengthen organizations and allow them to reach more girls and young women. WAGGGS’ focus is on the addressing the needs and aspirations of the girls and young women of today.

By understanding and responding to youth culture, Member Organizations are better able to empower girls and young women to strive for personal growth and truly to discover their potential.
