Maldives - Strengthening the association through leadership training
The Maldives Girl Guide Association wish to implement a programme of training so that trainers are available throughout the country. They plan to hold atoll level training for leaders and seek out good trainers who can be developed to work as trainers in the atoll. The aim is to have 2 trainers per atoll. They intend to assess leaders and trainers as they organize regional camps. They will also print a trainers manual and leaders manual to enable good guidelines. This project has been funded in full by Girl Scouts of Japan.
