Traduction à suivre
28 Novembre 2011
'The hidden truth' is a documentary made by a young woman in Zambia that tackles the issue of domestic violence. It is being used a tool for social change in local communities around Zambia. On 30 November we will be showing 'the hidden truth' as part of our special 16 days 'webinar' (online seminar). You can watch a preview of the film here
The webinar will give you the opportunity to watch the whole film and then to take part in the question and asnwer session with Penelope and Mwelwa who made the film. Penelope and Mwelwa will talk about the Samfya film making club that they are part of, and why they wanted to make the film. There will then be an opportunity to ask them questions and to download our worksheet on making films for social change.
After the webinar you can use the information and the downlaodable worksheet to make your own short film on ending violence. You can send these films to us. We'll show the best ones on our website and send you a special 'Stop the Violence' promotional pack including pin badges, wrist bracelets, t-shirts and stickers.
To sign up for the webinar email stoptheviolence@wagggsworld.org with your name, email and where you're from, and we'll send you information about how to join the session.
