Centenary celebrations at the World Conference

To celebrate the Centenary and the incredible work that Girl Guides and Girl Scouts have undertaken in the last 100 years, there will be a special Centenary Exhibition at this year’s World Conference. The Centenary exhibition is set to be a visual extravaganza that chronicles the work and changes of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting from its beginnings to its current form.
We want all Member Organizations (MOs) and their work to be represented in this exhibition. We are looking for both historical and current photos that depict Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and their work of Changing Lives in the last 100 years. However, this is more than just a photo display. We want all MOs to send us important memorabilia and artefacts that represent their organization. This can include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Badges
- Uniforms
- Books
- Pamphlets
- Films and Documentaries
- Press Clippings

MOs can bring these items to the Conference for the display. However, WAGGGS needs to receive a photograph and description of the object in question by 31st March. Please return all photos to the Communications and Advocacy assistant, World Bureau (andrea@wagggsworld.org). |
