This is a great opportunity to be based in the exciting international setting of Sangam World Centre in India. One of the World Association of Girls Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) World Centres, Sangam is an international gathering place for members and friends of WAGGGS providing opportunities to meet and share experiences and learn together. Sangam seeks a dynamic individual with a passion for people and a desire to work in a diverse international environment.
The Guest Services Coordinator will lead the Guest Services Team and have key responsibility for ensuring a positive experience for guests by coordinating all elements of the guest experience and managing staff in this area. You will take responsibility for customer service, bookings, HR and training for your team, finance, management and administration. At the same time you will contribute to the Senior Leadership Team at Sangam and have opportunities to be part of providing a life changing experience for all who come through the doors.
You should have excellent management, administration and interpersonal skills and experience working with and leading others in an international team.
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, with knowledge of other languages desirable but not essential.
This is a fixed term contract position with an immediate start for a two year term. The successful applicant will work on a rota schedule covering days, evenings and weekends. This post is residential for people outside of India and board and lodging is provided onsite.
