Ivory Coast - Setting up rural guiding to help girls and young women benefit from Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting
Eclaireuses Laïques de Côte d'Ivoire (ELAICI) are seeking £3,000 to set up a new rural Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting group. They hope to raise the profile of Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting locally and create more opportunities for girls and young women. The project will include literacy training, work on the Global Action Theme and activities for the very young girls. The funds will help the purchase of uniforms for the girls and training materials and information technology for the leaders.
