Ju-Hee from Korea notes "Being here as a volunteer is so exciting. As a volunteer, I meet lots of Guiding and Scouting members from different countries and become friends with them. I have also had the opportunity to speak out and take action. In Korea, I had a rather conservative upbringing with very specific rules to follow. Therefore, until a few days ago, I was naturally thinking about this and trying to follow them. However, at Our Cabaña, everything depends on me. From the basic rules about daily life to planning my own activities freely without any fixed frame. Being a volunteer also has its challenges. Most participants are from the Western Hemisphere and Europe and I sometimes face the differences in culture and language. However, I always remember that rising to challenges makes you stronger. How can we improve ourselves without challenges? Besides, we have lots of friends who assist us along the way and keep a watch with warm heart".
