- Under this Programme, Malawi Girl Guides Association has a Capacity Development Project that is funded by NORAD Through the Norwegian Guide and Scout Association. The project covers all the above mentioned 7 districts the Association is operating in.
- This project started in 2002 and has enabled MAGGA to
a. conduct several trainings,
b. establish and run a Secretariat,
c. pay salaries for staff members,
d. develop the National Training Scheme,
e. hold AGMs and National Executive meetings,
f. establish new Guide Units,
g. strengthen old Guide Units and
h. monitor Girl Guiding activities in both old and new Guide Units.
- Norwegian Guide and Scout Association has linked MAGGA through this Project with NORAD Programme on Inclusion of the People with Disabilities. The Association has therefore started targeting blind and deaf girls, albinos and other vulnerable girls.
