Honduras - Helping young women to be trained as advocates
The Asociación Nacional de Muchachas Guías de Honduras selected 30 young women (aged 15-30 years) with strong leadership skills. Training will be given on advocacy issues using various methods. During the process they will lead debates, round tables, discussions and campaigns as part of the training and learning process. They will become involved in existing civil networks and will be expected to take a lead on policy discussions and contribute to defending the human rights of girls and young women in Honduras.
This project has been funded by Girlguiding UK.
