Our World
The new Our World magazine has been launched with a fresh new design and features showcasing Girl Guide and Girl Scout projects from across the globe.
Our World will continue to be a platform for you to showcase the fantastic and vital work of our Movement, in the context of important issues such as the environment, non-formal education, girls’ and young women’s leadership and much more.
The September issue of Our World magazine is themed on MDG 3: gender equality and empowering women. This month the magazine features an interview with Inés Alberdi, Executive Director of UNIFEM; a profile of one of the rising stars of our Movement, Kat Ann Charcos from the Philippines; and lots of inspirational project case studies. You can also read an inspiring article from Burundi and how the Girl Guides Association is paving the way for women to enter public life.
Our World is available by paid subscription so you can keep up to date with the latest news, resources and opportunities from the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. Read more about subscriptions.
