Building Partnerships seminar wraps in Sangam

20 participants from Kenya, Canada, Rwanda, USA, Tanzania, UK, Burundi, Nepal, Australia, Sweden, Mexico and India came to the Indian World Centre in Sangam to learn more about Millenium Development Goal (MDG) 8 - A Global Partnership for Development.
Throughout the seminars, participants will meet with Sangam's Community Partners and discuss different methods of building partnerships within their own communities.
Each session is designed to help participants develop skills in advocacy while gaining knowledge and experience in building partnerships and working together on projects to achieve positive change. Each participant will also write their own Building Partnerships Plan to be implemented when they return to their home country.
While developing their advocacy skills they also had the opportunity to begin experiencing Indian culture with particpants, staff and volunteers coming together for Ganapati, one of Indian's biggest festivals!
