World Centres' volunteers produce new video
27 August 2010
Volunteers at the four WAGGGS World Centres (Our Chalet, Sangam, Our Cabaña, Pax Lodge) have created this video to share some of the highlights of visiting a World Centre.
Please share this far and wide to enable more young women to begin their World Centres journey. Also, if you’re on Facebook, you can join the 'I’ve visited a World Centre' group where volunteers and visitors from all centres can share their experiences and learn about new opportunities.
Volunteer at the World Centres
Are you friendly and willing to work hard? Do you want to work in another country and discover your potential? Then why not consider volunteering at one of WAGGGS’ World Centres?
WAGGGS offers residential volunteering opportunities all year round at its World Centres in India, Mexico, Switzerland and the UK.
Each World Centre has an international team of volunteer and professional staff. Active members of WAGGGS can volunteer to work for between six weeks and ten months, organizing events and being involved in the World Centres’ programmes and house duties.
You will learn new skills such as event management, training and education. You will make lifelong friends from all over the world. You will develop as a leader and pass on your skills to girls and young women. Please visit the World Centres micro sites for more details.
