It is important to talk about sex

In the WAGGGS’ Adolescent Health Global Survey, a third of girls surveyed confirmed that their parents first told them about sex. However, 38 per cent said that girls receive no sex education at all in their countries.

85 per cent of those surveyed say they would feel more comfortable talking to girls their own age.

61 per cent said they wanted to make up their own minds about when to have intimate relationships and not be persuaded by their peers.
