Surrey West International Gathering in 2008 Applications for Surrey West International Gathering (SWInG) 2008 are now open. The event, organized by Girlguiding Surrey West (UK), will take place from 2 to 9 August 2008 in Surrey, England. More than 500 girls, aged 10 to 18 years are expected to attend this event. |

International Women’s Summit in Kenya A WAGGGS delegation of 16 women participated in two events at the World YWCA Council in Nairobi from 1 to 7 July 2007: the Young Women Leadership Forum and the International Women’s Summit. |
| 23 May 2007 | Five Regional Conferences in 2007 WAGGGS’ five regions are celebrating their conferences in 2007. Regional Conferences are held each triennium to promote and expand Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting within the region and develop plans for assisting National Organizations. |
