Young Women's World Forum 2010

1 October 2010- 31 October 2010

As part of the centenary celebrations, Girlguiding UK will be hosting the first Young Women’s World Forum (YWWF) in cooperation with WAGGGS, in October 2010.The forum will be discussing issues that are relevant to young women from across the globe and will focus on the Millennium Development Goals.

All WAGGGS Member Organizations are being invited to send two delegates to the YWWF, who are:

  • Young women aged 18-25 (at least 18 by 1 October 2010 and still under 26 years old on 31 October 2010).

  • Active members of their organization, but do not need to have attended any previous WAGGGS events.

  • Very good French, English or Spanish speakers in order to be able to contribute and benefit fully from the Forum.

  • Committed to running projects or programmes as a follow-up to the Forum.


If you want to attend the YWWF and meet the above criteria please contact your International Commissioner to find out how they are recruiting their delegates.
