 In 1909 several girls demanded a place for girls at the Crystal Palace Boy Scout Rally. They were the very first advocates of the Movement - speaking out and challenging the norms and gender conventions of the time. To honour our history and to build for the future, WAGGGS celebrated the centenary of the international Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Movement over three years, from 2010 to 2012. |
 Through its Member Organizations and through working directly with girls and young women, WAGGGS delivers high quality non-formal educational programmes and international opportunities that provide girls and young women dynamic, flexible and values-based training in life skills, leadership and citizenship. |

Hi I'm Hadiqa from Pakistan I have been in guiding since 3 years and now its my 4th year in guiding. I have learn skills of recycling paper and use unwanted fabric to make useful things like bags and pouches etc...maybe I will get a chance to learn more skills and visit HQ of Switzerland for experience...
