Our Student Union hosts an annual International Girl Scouts Thinking Day Fair, and each participating troop represents a different WAGGGS country, providing food/games/crafts/history/cultural displays/etc. We have incorported a parade of nations, displaying flags and the delegate greets the attendies in the language they are representing. It is an awesome event!

Our Service Unit is hosting a 2006 Thinking Day event on February 18th. We are inviting the troops from the other Service Units in our Council to join us.

The girls will be researching other countries, contacting the Girl Guide or Girl Scout organizations and contacting a local travel agency.

We are inviting the public to our event so that they can learn about Girl Scouting around the world.

This is a great site and I have told my leaders to check it out.

Our New Jersey, USA service unit will be hosting an International Day in celebration of Thinking Day 2006. Each of our 30 troops will be researching and presenting information about a WAGGGS country. The new information on this site is fantastic and will really allow our girls to connect with scouts/guides around the world.
