Day 2- 1st March
Another cold and action packed day!
All WAGGGS delegates attended a Media Training where we practiced interview techniques for any media opportunities we may get throughout and beyond CSW 2010. Watch out for us on Prime Time TV!!
After becoming experts in media skills, Rachel, I-Ling, Maria, and Nefali attended that Young Women's Caucus which was facilitated by WAGGGS staff member, Bernadette Fischler, and a member from the YWCA. At this gathering there were many members from several NGO’s and Government Delegations. This group discussed and amended the Declaration of the CSW. It was excellent to see a diverse age group attending this event and making their voice heard.
After our first delegation debrief everyone is very excited about what is ahead of us and are looking forward to representing WAGGGS and getting our key messages out there!!
